Brian Stott from Morrison Funeral homes is a gem of all gems while you are organizing the burial of a loved one. Pat the Celebrant was so lovely and caring in her words. The flowers from Morrison’s Flowers I asked for were brilliant and exactly what I wanted for my mum. I am so glad I had Morrison’s to handle all the details of my mum’s burial and made this sad moment flow without causing more stress on you at this truly difficult time. We had booked an afternoon tea and cakes after the service which was really lovely and the staff were kind.
To Daniel and Jake, thanks for the compassionate and all round excellent service that you and your staff provided at this most difficult time. Your staff are a credit to the business, but more importantly to themselves. I wish you all the best for the future. Take care.
Catering got ripped off. Barley any food to feed 25 people when asked for at least 3x that. Made email complaint to be told was told that only 4 little things and which is not true. Day had service for loved one, dealing with saddest day of our life instead had to run around to find more food after service, invited guests to house to eat and spend more money $200 plus shopping at Pak N Save to feed them after being charged over $800 for hardly any food. DO NOT do catering with them. Cheaper to buy or get somewhere else to cater. Try feeding all these people with the 4 little tiny plates of food they give. Embarrassing and shameful.
Just want to acknowledge and thank all the staff at Morrison's Funeral Home for helping my father and I host the most beautiful and flawlessly-executed service for my dearly departed mother. We especially want to thank Kaipara Solomon for ensuring that not a single detail was overlooked. His attention to detail, prompt responses, and genuine care from start to end, was exceptional! THANK YOU!!!
We have had 3 close family members pass away and Morrisons have taken care of all 3 of our loved ones. I just wanted to say Thank you, I know you guys are just doing your jobs but to me its way more than that. From the bottom of my heart, Thank you for taking good care of my Dad, Sister and my husband Ioane, appreciate the love and professionalism you showed us. Thank you Jake and the team.
On the day my Grandfather passed away we went into Morrison's and spoke to them, they came and picked up my Grandfather and took him to their facility. The next day as agreed we went in to organize his service. Everything was discussed and paper work done. The next time we went in was for my Grandfather's service. It was just a simple service with catering provided by Morrison's. All we had to do was show up. It was a lovely service. There was no hidden expenses in the bill. Thank you Morrison's for taking care of our Grandfather and his farewell celebration.
Wain had been lovely and helpful from the beginning to the end, helping us through the difficult time we had to go through. A lot more affordable than we had expected, but still made it a beautiful funeral. I don't want to expect any future ones at this time, but if the time comes, I will gladly come back here.
My sister and I attended a memorial service last night at Morrison's Henderson. This was a wonderful experience for us. The Morrison family went truly out of their way to make the whole experience truly wonderful. I would sincerely like to thank them from the bottom of my heart. We lost our Dad in March and this service helped us in a way words cannot express. Many thanks Julie and Lesley Adams
Thank you to Morrison 's for making the process of farewelling my mother as beautiful, special and simple as possible. This was a first for my family and you have made my grief easier with the genuine love & care that you showed my mother and ourselves. We felt heard, respected and it made such a difference.
