I went into Moore Wilsons in Masterton to buy coffee beans and get them ground. I have been doing this for about a year. I do a grocery shop while I am there.nHowever, the last batch of coffee beans had been ground to a fine powder. The cup is full of sediment when you drink the coffee. I mentioned this, politely. I have a plunger and it is a medium grind. That's what I ask for.nNo one said, I'm sorry that happened. No one knew what the numbers on the grinder meant, in terms of how coarse or fine the result was. One woman said she just uses 8.5. Another said they had no idea whether 1 was fine or coarse. She said she is not a coffee drinker. She told me it was my responsibility to say which number I wanted the machine set on. If the grind was wrong, I had to take the coffee anyway. I left the store and will never go back.

A nice selection of produce, sometimes a bit pricey. Always has plenty of produce available.
I had a lovely experience today. The staff couldn't be more helpful, even loading the 20kg flour and salt into my trolley and in my car. Only negative is quite a few items missing on the shelves but this could be out of their control. Heaps of parking available. Great visit
Love to shop here for beautiful food, meats, produce, specialty items, catering sizes, frozen, delicious food, amazing cheeses and artisan products, spices....nFriendly helpful staff and well laid out store in its new building.
