The Monty & Minx Calamvale Vet Clinic is a small animal vet clinic specialising in dogs and cats servicing the Southern Surburbs of Brisbane.

Although the clinic has undergone a name change as well as a face lift, you'll still see the same friendly faces of our rock star vets (Shibly, Winnie, Fiona) and super nurses (Candice and Kat). Iona has come back to work as a receptionist.

Here at Monty & Minx our goal is to provide exceptional pet care in addition to outstanding customer service.

This means that not only do we care for and nurture your pets as if they were our own, but we also strive to understand your needs as owners and therefore, in a way, take care of you too!

Thank you to Dr Fiona, Dr Winnie and nurse Candice for always looking after our cat as if she was your own - she is doing so well, the regular checks and treatments have made a big difference. She is comfortable and happier. She turned 20 two weeks ago!

Very expensive practice. My puppies got fecal examination, cost almost $100. Recently visited another vet, get quote for that, just $28. my friend told me that the supplement for dogs is expensive as well, almost triple price comparing to pet shop. Astonished!
Anyway, service is good. People are nice here.

My silly little Ellie (Pomeranian) got to spend the day with Monty and Minx after being transferred from the emergency centre for continuing care. She decided to scare me by eating a few grapes which we discovered later was more likely inhaled as they came out whole. 

As I thought, she loved her stay. Well worth the 1hr round-trips to come and see you 🐶 People may think I'm silly when there's dozens of vets closer, including one 500m down the road, but I always know how caring the Monty and Minx team is 😊 Silly racoon-faced marshmallow was tired out from all the love and cuddles and slept all the way home. 

My Ellie actually loves going to the vet, and I have to take her along even if she's not the patient! I can always trust the nursing team and vets at Monty and Minx for a comfortable and stressfree experience.

Although not with the one owner I have been attending this practice for almost 13 years. My old girl Bessie is 13 today 19th April and I got her at 8 weeks. Now my second girl Merc also attends. They are so wonderful and caring.
