Had my wedding ceremony in the Upper Gallery and it was just beautiful. Have received so many compliments on the ceremony and the location and just the little details by the staff. A big thank you to Rebecca who helped us finalise everything and coordinate the big day, right up to making sure my dress looked nice before I walked down the aisle. Highly recommend.

Lovely grounds, perfect to spend the day with the family on the lawn or wander around the galleries at your leisure. The cafe was cosy and the food was lovely

Our second visit was a year ago. We had a walk in the park, the cemetery and around the galleries. Great if you love art and self-reflection and very adult oriented. It was around 2:30pm when we returned to the cafe half-filled with visitors having lunch. We were hungry and tried to order some food but were refused by the staff. Apparently everybody at the cafe had their lunch pre-booked. Our further attempts to order anything, even a cookie to go with a coffee were met with a lot of unfriendliness. Kids couldn't understand why we were only allowed drinks while being surrounded by eating people.

Were here yesterday for Puesta del Sol event, so a distinctly Spanish flavour. Fascinating artsy crafty place.

An artist colony and gallery of the past and present. Monsalvat offers an artist a tranquil haven. The cafe is a lovely place to eat even if you skip paying to visit the gallery, church and grounds.
