When we visited we had high hopes for this highly rated cafe, however it didn't quite live up to reputation.  The food was really too normal, more like an ordinary lunchbar.  The bacon was very dry, the waffle seemed like a premade from the supermarket instead of freshly made, and the fruits could have been fresher.

Food was pretty good, but quite oily, and service left much to be desired. We asked the young blonde waitress for water, she just pointed and stated "yeah sure it's over there". I felt like asking her to pay me some of her wages  for self service!

Monsi's seems like it's under new management. The new chef is amazing and the food is excellent. I think they started some work just recently to update and improve the building too. Can't wait to go back!!

Delicious food and an amazing iced coffee. For the dark roast lovers out there. Actual ice included in the iced coffee. The waitress was a bit clueless, maybe new, seemed very nice though. The AC was on a very low temperature, which was a tiny bit annoying.

I have try all the coffees of Claremont suburb and I can say that they serve the best coffee and excellent friendly service. Congratulations for such a good management and service.

Great coffee especially the mocha and service. Keep up the great work best in Claremont.

MONSI'S is no longer here. They have closed down or moved. A new cafe is here called Ravernous.
