Story

Momoco Sushi has been established for years and currently having three outlets in total. Momoco Sushi Northland is the latest outlet which was opened in mid-January 2014. This outlet is based in Northland Shopping Centre. We are a proper Japanese Restaurant that serves rice dishes, noodle dishes, Bento boxes, entrees, salads and more. A selection of desserts and coffee are available too. Being a Japanese restaurant, we make all sauces in house. A varieties selection of vegetarian and gluten free options are available at Momoco Sushi as well. Nevertheless, our ice cream selections of Green Tea, Black Sesame and White Sesame are low in sugar and Gluten free friendly. For any further enquiries, please ring us @ 94706888.

Had an all you can eat at Momoco, cost $44 per person.The waitress were polite and service is okay, but the food quality is not great. Some dishes were good, but most of it wasn’t. The first dish that came out was good (to make a good first impression I guess), but it was down hill from there. Tuna sashimi was terrible, prepared from poor cut, it had a lot of white in it, and was tough. Dumplings was bland with dry fillings. Teriyaki beef was bad. Some dishes were oily and some was drenched in sauce to disguise the poor quality. The miso and mushroom soup is bland. Food comes out slowly for all you can eat. It’s pretty obvious they were trying to cut corners. I didn’t end up finishing most of my dish and there was a lot of leftovers. All you can eat is not worth it. There’s a food bias here, if you get all you can eat expect much poorer quality food then individual dishes from main menu. I tried all you can eat at Momoco, out of curiosity. Lesson learned. Will never do all you can eat at Momoco again.

Just terrible. The bland food was drowning in mayo to disguise the terrible quality. The katsu don (pork cutlet on rice) was obviously cooked earlier and microwaved. It was soggy and the rice was hard like 3 day old left overs. Avoid this place at all costs.

You can tell which of the other reviewers was jealous of the food here. This place offers fairly traditional Japanese fare at a great price and excellent quality. We've been here at least once a month for the past year or so and only once had an issue, and that was with an inattentive waiter (never saw her again afterwards though). Great to drop in for a quick meal, and the value of the Bento boxes is fantastic.

Always my mate and I would past by the restaurant and it would be ALWAYS quiet and we wonder why it's quiet and empty. Today we decided to go in the restaurant at lunch time and we were just the only people in there, my mate and I ordered 2 dishes one chicken and one beef, food was out in 5 minutes after having few spoons of our meal we both understood why this restaurant was so busy that no one wanted to come. We paid 26.80 and all we enjoyed in there was the green tea and the ambience We are in the food business since last 14 years and never ever tasted something so good that would make us come back to them I really wish they met a chef that knew how to cook food
