Best fish and chips in the area. The extra potato cakes are a nice touch overall great service.
We are local and eat here regularly. Chips are crisp and crunchy. Grilled whiting is usually good, and when we have had the burger, they have been fresh, generous and delicious. We would recommend this F&C
They have nice fish and chips, we generally go to Mermaid cos their chips are slightly nicer IMO but everyone has different tastes.
Great chips, and that's all that matters :
Quite possibly the worst fish and chips we've ever had. The chips were soggy and some were barely cooked. The potato cakes were dry and tiny. The service was beyond poor - we felt extremely unwelcome. We won't be back and we certainly don't recommend.

The food is nice you get a good amount for your money tastes fresh and well drained from oil after cooked great service you can ring up and order and then pick it up
Pretty good, but don't precook there potatoes for POtAtOe cakes so there rarely properly cooked!
