Good pizza. Base was great. I got a Capri. Huge let down for me was the canned mushrooms. The pizza tasted fine, but I was a little disappointed if I’m honest. I’d expect canned mushrooms from a supermarket pizza. But not a pizza shop pizza. Did you run out of fresh, or you you never use fresh? Cash only as well, so I had to go home and get my debit card which was annoying, as I don’t live in town. Would have been good if the cash only part was mentioned on the phone when I ordered.
We decided to try KP out for a change and definitely don't regret it! A very family owned/run vibe, super friendly staff who went above and beyond to accommodate my request for a custom pepperoni pizza just the way we like it. The pizza was outstanding.. thin, saucy, cheesy and crispy.. just perfect! Will definitely be back for more!
Best pizza in Vic North of Goofies in Essendon. Very well priced for the quality of the food. Get customer service. They don't use a conveyor belt to cook it. Makes a big difference. Conveyer belt pizza is nasty.
I’ve been coming here since I was a young boy. Now that I’ve got my own car and licence I couldn’t resist but driving from Melbourne to Kyneton to have what I believe is the best Pizza I’ve ever had. Highly recommend.
Best pizza. Friendly staff and delivery drivers. Edit. I did review the wrong venue. I have had pizza at KYNETON pizza and I always enjoyed it. It was my go to pizza in the 1970s & 1980s till I left the area. Have been back a few times since then. This time I thought I would try the competition.
Just ordered takeaway from here for the first time and wow, what a delicious Margherita! The kids and I demolished it. Husband got the BBQ chicken. Will be back.
I think there was more moisture in the cardboard box, was as dry as the sahara dessert. What sort of pizza doesn't have cheese on it?. My Hawaiian was literally burned ham chucked on a pizza base, with pineapple just sitting on top after finally coming out of the food dehydrator. I thought surely no pizza shop can be worse than the pizza shop next door. But we have a new contender!
I wasn't expecting too much to be honest, but what a great pizza. Crispy and light crust was amazing. Will be back again
Unfortunately not a very good pizza, not the worst I've had but very far from the best. No cheese on top so my topping would just fall off and I'm assuming most of the toppings are canned, I know for certain the mushrooms and capsicums are canned. Lack of flavour and a chewy base. Some people here are saying the best pizza in Melbourne?? They obviously haven't been to gordys or lakeside pizza in the north. All can say is it wouldn't take much to improve, just having fresh ingredients would make a huge difference. Cheers
This isn't the worst pizza you'll find but it's very average. The price is very high for what you're getting. The most surprising aspect of the pizza I got was that it more closely resembled a chain like Pizza Hut or Domino's for bland/artificial flavour than it did a standard town/suburban pizza shop. The staff were very friendly although I think it's worthwhile letting people making a phone order that the business is cash only. It's a minor thing as there's an ATM very close by but a possible improvement nonetheless. If you're looking for pizza in the area I'd be surprised if you couldn't do better.
