Our family used to frequent Moka for over a year, but recently they had new owners come in. While it is the right of new owners to make changes as they see fit, it is also my right to take my business where I feel it deserves to go. The quaint atmosphere has changed inside the restaurant, now they have a huge self serve Coke trademarked fridge, and the quality of the coffee has fallen drastically. They changed the manufacture of the coffee beans and the syrups they use. Originally I would have said they were the best place in Werribee/Hoppers Crossing to get coffee - and worth any drive you had to make. With the change, I rank their quality of coffee below MacDonald's. It is a very sad state of affairs when someone comes in and ruins a delightful established business. No longer will we be a customer of Moka, and that seems to be a familiar trend, as all of the people at work have since switched also. Do not recommend Moka anymore, as I could not finish my coffee, I dumped it out.
_Real_ hot chocolate. None of that powdered stuff. Great food. Pleasant environment. Friendly staff. A great spot for brunch, coffee and cake with friends, or somewhere to pick up a tasty treat to take away.
I work in Watton Street, so have tried all the Cafes and lunch places. This one is AWESOME. This is the only one that I am NEVER disappointed with. The selection of cakes is fantastic and everything in the display cabinet looks appetising.
The owner is a woman basher and bully to his staff. Violence against women is not tolerated in this country. AVOID AND BOYCOTT THIS CAFE
Great Coffee, probably the best in Werribee. Cakes are of the highest quality...try the brownies!
Very surprised, never been here before, fantastic and I'll be back.
