"A gorgeous Moroccan inspired Function Venue and Cocktail Lounge located in the heart of the Chapel Street entertainment precinct. Mofo Lounge has been catering to events for all occasions since 2003. From birthdays, engagements, hens and weddings through to corporate events and team building activities. We have two function spaces available for private hire. Our smaller room is Casablanca Lounge and caters for groups of up to 35, whilst our larger function room Morocco Lounge can cater for 114 guests. We also specialise in Cocktail Making Classes which are a fun social occasion perfect for celebrating a hens, birthday or as a team building activity. We did a cocktail class yesterday with Sam and it was great! We really enjoyed the delicious homemade dips and had so much fun making and drinking! the cocktails. Great value. You’ve gotta do all 3 cocktails! Don’t miss out because we saved the best cocktail for last!
We had our Christmas party at Mofo Lounge on Saturday night and we all had a fabulous time! The cocktail class was fantastic and our teacher was really knowledgeable, funny and patient! The events team were a pleasure to work with and our night went off without a hitch. Thank you Mofo Lounge for a great night. We will be back!!!
Organised a cocktail making class here as part of a 40th birthday celebration. The communication from Sam and Grant was incredible throughout the entire experience. The class was fun with a great variety of cocktails as well as mocktails for those not drinking alcohol. The food platter was incredible value and the venue itself has an amazingly warm feel. We hosted a surprise bridal shower party for my sister at Mofo lounge. It was the best decision, the space is so beautiful and aesthetically pleasing. We had so much fun with amazing food and drinks. It was easy to reach out Sam and he helped us organise the event the way we want it, I really appreciate that. Thank you for making our event special and so much fun. Special thanks to Tain he was very kind, polite, supportive and amazing host. Definitely coming back for our future events.
We did a cocktail making class as part of a hens party and it was awesome! Sam was really easy to work with via email, super responsive and helpful. He ran the class on the day and was engaging, funny and knowledgeable. Quite good value for money too considering the 2.5 hour class for about 15 people included the private function room, food, 1 glass of sparkling and the 3 full strength cocktails! Highly recommend
Had a suprise party for my partner here last night in the Casablanca. Can't say enough good things about the lounge and both the managers. Both Grant/Sam were amazing whilst planning/organizing the surprise and on the day the venue was gorgeous, the food was beautiful and the cocktails by Sam were absolutely delicious. All my guests absolutely adored how gorgeous the place was and the service, staff, food and drinks were amazing. We also had Shisha which again.... wonderful!!! We had such a great time. 10/10 recommended. I normally don't hangout around chapel street a lot but I will definitely go back there just for Mofo lounge. It was such an experience. Fantastic work team. Loved and enjoyed every second of it. And hats off to the chef for the yummy food and generous portions.
Such an intimate, cozy and warm atmosphere With light music and a peaceful ambience it's a great escape from the crazy noise on Chapel street! And the Service was friendly and warm and every drink was great to the T
Sam and his team are so helpful and accommodating! Plus the venue has tons of character and charm with lots of different nooks and crannies. Big recommend for any event
What a great venue and staff! Chose this venue for a Hen’s Night function. They had many options to choose from and went with the cocktail making class option. Sam was the ultimate host/manager, with awesome staff Clara to match. Great value for money and flexibility in what we used the space for. We all had a fun time!
We hired mofo lounge for a mobile cocktail making class. The communication was very good and they answered all of my questions prior to the day. Grant was very organised and knew how to deal with a group of people, while also being very patient and respectful. Would definitely recommend to others!
