If you're friendly with security and turn up in right formal wear it'd good enough to have fun, good vibe, music was awesome and drinks are Nice good places to celebrate just don't try going vip or drinking too much or abuse staff that's how people get kicked out knowing this from a bartender perspective. Wish Friday nights for Asian partying wasn't so hard to get in , feels kinda discriminatory to only pick hit Asian people randomly from the club and not allow anyone in until people leave
Poor selection of drinks and low stock level. For a place as popular as it is their selection and stocking is poor. The beer i had first ran out within 30 mins, next i switched to whisky no JW/Glenfiddich the two most common but chose jameson…which was done when i came to next round. Had been patient but one particular staff member was testy when it was the venue’s unpreparedness

Really nice club, pretty crowded but good music. Bouncers are a bit scary. Remember to comply to the dress code - formal dress shoes, heels or boots, else you might be asked to leave.
Let me preface by saying this is not my usual type of place to be and honestly after reading the reviews prior to me entering I would not have even bothered if it weren't for a hen's night celebration. Admittedly, I was a little drunk and seeing the line for the women's toilet was a big nope, so not being in the mood to wait I try the mens toilets, which mind you only had a urinal right at the end furthest from the entry and the rest were toilet stalls. As I'm about to walk into an empty stall near the entrance the 'security' steps in the way says I have to use the woman's bathroom. I say "I'm non-binary, it doesn't matter which toilet I use" He said "You used the women's bathroom before, so that's where you should be". At this point there's empty toilet stalls and no one waiting in line. Now before you think "Oh, another self-righteous snowflake they/them trying to push their agenda onto people" a couple of women literally walk out of one of the stalls as I'm having this conversation with the 'security'. Then along comes some other aggressive 'security' guy, gets in my face and starts threatening to kick me out, just after two women walked past, but hey, let's ignore that happened because it's convenient, right? A toilet is a toilet, which is why so many progressive places in Melbourne have removed gender from their bathrooms now. If you're not being a creep and it's a busy club then who freaking cares who wants to piss in what toilet if they're empty and available. 'Security' at Love Machine are pathetic and laughable and honestly have nothing better than to find things to do and pretend like they're protecting the safety of their patrons, but really they're just looking to feed their ego with their double standards.
My boyfriend who has ADHA and autism was kicked out, he was kicked out. Bouncers could not give us an answer why he was kicked out. Mind you he had only had two drinks, had earplugs in for the music because it was alot for him. Bouncers continue to give us no answer for why he was kicked. I called management multiple times declined my calls. Had to demand management to come down to me. They said we could come back in, but what’s the point they basically ruin an amazing hens night. What’s the point, we did all they right things but this is pure discrimination, absolutely disgusting!!!! Wouldn’t even give the ones star, honestly would give zero

Went to Panda Thursdays using #avaneeshsguestlist where he treated my friends and I to a 5* experience. Best host ever!
I personally will never be going to this club again. My friend ordered us two vodka raspberries and the bartender told him it was $24. The bartender took his card and secretly charged him $51 dollars behind the bar where we couldn’t see the amount he entered. Later on I went to buy 2 vodka raspberries. A different bartender asked for my phone to pay for the two drinks but the Face ID to pay timed out, so he came back with my phone and the outstanding amount of $54 for two drinks. When I confronted the bartender about the price he told me to just take my drinks and leave. We decided to leave the club for good after we realised they tried to charge us $108 for 4 drinks. This isn’t even to mention the rude bouncers outside or the ridiculous cash only policy. Save yourself from being scammed and go party else where!
If you need cash, don’t use the ATM machine here - it short changed me by $50 and I never got the money back. Had to dispute it with my bank and it took a long time. Plus it charges ridiculous fees too
