Today, I went to buy garden water pipes, and it was clearly marked $109, which was placed in the special sale area, but later I went to the checkout to the price change to $245. Then I told the manager of the cashier area, and she took me to see it again. She said that they had made a mistake in the price, and she told me that I could not sell you the price, although it was the same brand, it was not the same model. Very bad shopping experience.
This store is definitely a flagship branch. Staff are awesome. Had issues with my local. Come to this branch and wow. Fantastic setups and displays. Huge range of products. Had shelving I wanted in stock, and even loaded it into my van for me . Coming here always now.
If only the customer service staff can be as helpful as the departments. I found command strips on sale next to the checkout and headed to cashier only to find that they we're normal price. She advised to speak to customer service. I enquired and was told that I wasn't a club members, So I wanted to join, to get the discount. Only to find, the staff removed the promotional sign after I walked to the cashier. All within 5min. Customer service then informed me that the deal is on longer available and even if I join the club membership, the deal can not be honored.. This did not sit right with me and I feel like this could have been handled better. I will definitely be thinking twice about visiting Miter 10 again, as this has not been the first time I've had a negative experience with them.
19/1/23 Very happy with the helpfulness of staff at Albany especially Kayla from the Security team who helped me with my 2 trolleys of goodies to my car and Lily from Seasonal. Both friendly and super helpful, much appreciated.
I went Mitre 10 Albany to pick up my online order and was going to do my first shopping in that store. while I was in their seeds section choosing some seeds, A staff member was coming towards me and said there was a surveillance security camera installed there, "don't steal the seeds "and went on "there $ 400 -500 worth seeds were stolen each week." I wonder if this kind of behaviour is the staff's daily routine or it's company's policy to tell the shoppers where the security cameras are and warn them don't steal the goods. While I was unloading the 4 bags vege mix I ordered into my car boot I found that one of them was patched with duct tape and still had a tear. I went back to the store to ask if I could get this damaged one swapped. They were not willing to help. There more than four staff members would rather stand around customer cservice counter than show me where the product's located when they were not busy at all. I was treated as a shoplifter there. Mitre 10 Albany were selling damaged goods without noticing customers. Worst shopping experience ever.
Great place to grab everything you need for those projects. Great selection of BBQ's and the Team are very helpful and knowledgeable about low and slow pellet smoker cooking. Cheers Team :-
Came into the store yesterday but unfortunately had to leave as the heat in the store was unbearable. There is no air circulation and it made my shopping experience awful. Summer has not yet arrived, I pity the staff that work there.
Always love coming here to shop, can spend hours looking around, having a drink in cafe and leave with a full trolley! Staff have always been very friendly and helpful.
Went in today to look at height/comfort toilets. Lots of small and medium on display, but not one high one. Very disappointed. No skilled toilet/bathroom people on.
I find myself here at least once a week - the product offering is subtly different to the other big hardware. Particularly liked the garden centre area.
