Warren and Leonie have a beautiful little corner of Denmark that they shared warmly with us over the summer holidays. On arrival we were greeted with a beautiful batch of Leonie's home baked muffins that barely survived the short trip up to our cottage! Our cottage was well-equipped to handle our three boys plus two adults for the week. It was truly a home away from home that served as a comfortable base for our adventures in the region. The swingset outside our front door was particularly beloved by the kids, and the balcony with its amazing view was the adults' favourite! Warren's knowledge and generous nature added a special dimension to our stay - he patiently showed us and our boys how to feed the chickens and collect the eggs, milk the cow, bottlefeed Walter the calf, feed the horses and rabbits, and he even saddled up Zantiki for a pony ride. Lucy the farm dog entertained us all with her antics. For my suburban-confined family, the farmstay aspect was a wonderful experience. We had barely left before we'd decided we'd definitely be back!

We had the pleasure of staying here for 4 nights. Beautiful place and a lot to do and the animals keep you busy all day. The two dogs Molly and lucy were the sweetest of dogs. Not forgetting the host Warren and Leaonie and the muffins. We would highly recommend this place to anyone. The Dsouza family

We had a fantastic holiday staying at this amazing property in January 2017. Our two children were kept busy every morning with the various supervised farm activities including feeding and cuddling the chickens and rabbits, horses, calf and goats, playing with the lovely farm dogs Lucy and Molly, collecting eggs and the awesome quad bike ride with Dad topped it off. The cottage was perfect - spacious, clean and well equipped - and we enjoyed our evening BBQs on the balcony with lovely valley views. The Denmark region has so much to offer - stunning beaches, family friendly wineries and breweries also offering local produce. So impressed. Thank you Warren and Leonie for being such amazing hosts! We will definitely be back!

Misty Valley Country Cottages is a perfect location for a secluded, cosy winter getaway. I remembered again what it is like to really slow down, and take it all in. Breathtaking views and wildlife, superb friendly hospitality, and the chalets are very well appointed, with everything you could possibly need. Loved the log fires and starry night skies. We will definitely be back again. Thank you Warren and Leonie. :)
