Wow. Great pies, the pastry is so buttery. Beef and mushroom was fantastic, pork and fennel snag roll really needed sauce or chutney but my fault I didn’t add it. Will be back to try more.
Had the Ham Quiche, Eggplant Pie with Slaw and a beef and mushroom pie I think. All were outstanding, I wish they had this in Singapore… Posting and saving this so I know where to get my pies next time I come back to Sydney
First time here, I had the chunky beef and mushroom pie, it was phenomenal The pie was flaky. Would highly recommend it
Don't have pictures because i wolfed it down pretty quickly. I got a beef and jalapeno pie. I.. usually am not impressed by pies very easily... but lord this pie was so delicious. The pastry was flaky but not soggy. The filling was well seasoned. Texture was amazing.. if you like pies. You need to try this place!!
I had the chunky beef and mushroom pie. The pastry is so buttery and crispy. My only complaint is that it was too salty, taking away the awesome flavour of the meat and mushroom filling.
I had to check this place out after the Newtown locals FB group raved about this place with bold claims such as it’s better than BSB & pie tin!. I love all my locals, so I’d say Miss Lillys offer a distinctive, uniquely delicious crumbly base spelt flour, he said ! It’s a must visit — be a local hero !! The team’s friendly and kind; I can’t wait to try other pie flavours + the carrot and cheesecake
Best pies in Sydney - better than the standard bakery pies I grew up eating in NZ. Pastry and filling both amazing. Sweets are good too.
Delicious pastries and friendly service! Have to try the fish pie and salmon quiche.. apple pie was amazing too!
Beef mince pie was one of the best I’ve ever had. Perfect temp, perfect pastry, perfect everything. Cant wait to have another one
Cute cafe with friendly staff and tasty cakes and pies. I had an apple, raspberry and honey tea cake with a light buttercream icing on top with a peppermint tea. A lovely spot to have a afternoon tea and read the newspaper. Looking forward to trying one of their famous pies next time I'm here.
