Miss India Clayfield

If it says opens at 10:30am on the web and you get there at 10:20 I suppose it’s not too long to wait, but when it’s still not open at 10:55 you start to get a little pissed off. I got the guys attention inside and pointed to my watch and after trying unsuccessfully to open the door he holds up fingers indicating 11am food is basically slop in a bucket but tastes average on par for takeaway fast food but not worth waiting 40 mins for I won’t be back former customer walk 20 meters and have a Bahn mi roll no waiting.

They open at 10:30am but dont bother going in before 12pm things aren't ready too cook. Its the 4th time ive come before 12 now and not beenable to get anything. Besides that the food is good

Worse food, worse service, no sense of humour, worse naan ever had totally waste of money, suggestion don't go to miss india

The row of bain maries in this place should have warned me that I probably wasn't in for a fine dining experience. Still, I was hungry and too lazy to cook after a not so hard day's work. While I was deciding what to order, the morose looking "chef" would come out every now and then and dump some of his slop into one of the bain maries. I ordered the lamb rogan josh with rice, thinking surely they can't screw up such a stereotypical Indian restaurant dish. But screw up they did. The lamb was gristly and tough and I ended up throwing away half of it. Haven't these people heard of slow cooking or pressure cooking tough cuts of meat? The spices in the curry were dull and lifeless, suggesting that they use stale preground spices. The rice was swimming in excess water. On the plus side, it wasn't too expensive. At least they put the cheap back into cheap and nasty.

This is such a great place. Cheap and ready to go Indian of the highest quality. There should be more Miss India restaurants throughout Australia.
