The Salt and pepper squid with tomato rice is well seasoned and quite rich in flavour. The Squid is cut into thick slices and deep-fried in a light batter. We ordered via take away so squid arrived slightly soggy but still full of flavour. Feedback would be to keep the rice and squid separate as even though they cutting a hole in the lid, there was condensation making the squid batter soggy. The broken rice is pretty good.
We thought that this outlet in Springvale will be just as good as the one in North Richmond. It clearly isn't. The roast pork is crispy but we were immensely let down by the roast duck. The skin colour is red, instead of the grilled brown colour. The taste is pretty bland. Whenever the door opens, there is a cold draught entering the restaurant. Will not visit again.
Prolly the best roasted duck rice in town. Coming from Southeast Asia, trust me, this is great.
Excellent variety on menu, including vegetarian options. Had the vegetarian stir fried noodles this time round, it came out pretty quickly and was done very well. Only thing that stopped me from giving 5 stars was the service. Don’t understand why I had to wait to be seated when half the seats were empty, and also had to wait to pay while the waitress was in the middle of a casual conversation. Disappointing.
We order roasted duck on rice, wonton soup and BBQ red pork with vermicelli noodles. Food was delicious, nice and friendly staff, Good service
Nice little shop on the main street. Has limited seating so it fills up quickly, but there is some outdoor seating which is nice. Ordered the two roast on rice BBQ pork and BBQ duck. The rice was a little dry and hard, seemed like the bottom of the rice pot since there were some burnt pieces in there too. The BBQ pork was tough and dry, wasn't the best. However, the BBQ duck was very nicely done, moist and succulent. We also had a stir fry dish with pork and Tofu. This was very good and would recommend. All the flavours came together and the rice seemed different to that of the first dish.

Been eating here since my uni days 6 years ago, never disappoints. Went back for the first time after moving to HK, the land of roast but the roast pork here is still just as amazing. The skin is super crispy and the meat is robust and succulent. Their banh boi is my favourite dish! Definitely recommend this :

Great place for lunch. We had Vietnamese Pho sliced beef generous portion. Quite acoomodating for our request for just a small serve of duck roast. The duck very tender unlike some places the meat is tough. Even my close 2 year old can have it
