Honestly the best fish and chips, also licensed so you can enjoy a wine or beer with your meal. The crumb on the fish and calamari is awesome portion sizes are massive. A couples pack would feed 4. Our first port of call on every visit to Hervey Bay.
Massive portion and also very fresh. Good value for money. They staff is nice and told me it would take 5mins to make and it was. I really recommend this place.
The couples pack was SO delicious. Such great value $29 for what you see in the attached photo and tasted amazing. We had to come back again before we left!
It’s our first time to try fish and chips here in AU and this has not disappointed us. The servings are huge and good for 3-4 people. Yummy!!
Oysters appear to be freshly packed today according to the date of production, however the taste is just not right. It is so off I could not swallow one single oyster and chucked the rest into the bin. $16 for half a dozen of nothing. When I politely gave this feedback to the staff, the lady simply questioned whether I am just used to the taste of other kinds of oysters. Wow. I’ve had oysters for years and I can clearly taste what normal Pacific oysters should be like, thank you. Would not recommend getting seafood here at all.
We had a seafood lunch. The food was beautifully fresh & hot. A bit pricey though xx Vegetarian options: Salads Parking: Plenty of parking. And close to the beach xx
The 11 dollar snapper is not a nice good size fillet it's actually two small tail ends, batter was flat and greasy as was the batter in the scollops, chips are more like steak house chips with some spice on them rather than proper chips, the cut for a start are like frozen fries. Wife's potato cakes were just soaked grease treats. Very average for a meal that cost 40+ bucks with two softies. Second time here, second time it was very average. Piers about the only thing going for this joint. As locals we will give it a miss from now on. Parking: Good parking.
Daym. The was some of the best seafood I've had. Ever. Not oily in the slightest. Perfect crunch. Fish was fresh and delicious. Calamari was big with perfect amount of crumb. Recommend this place highly.Food: 5/5
Nice location near the pier. Fast service and great tasting food. It's so good when you can get grilled fish and not just battered. Would go back.
We are locals but it was our first time to Migaloos. Will definately be back, lovely friendly, efficient staff that goes a long way with us& the fish & chips we had were very nice. The prawn & mango salad we had with it was delicious. Thankyou Parking: Plenty of parking around the area, even when busy like today. Wheelchair accessibility: The shop & outside eating is all on flat land,so very easy accessible for everyone.
