Middlemore Hospital

Don't understand what shall i write. You call 111 and the Ambulance will arrive not earlier than half an hour. With the limited equipment and limited knowledge, the Paramedics will decide on your life or death. And don't worry... if in case of any emergency you dial 111 and ask for an ambulance.. the police will arrive before the Ambulance and stop you from trying CPR or any other potentially life saving manoeuvre, even if you are a well trained professional.

5 stars for the lovely nurses who took care of my mom. Our GP sent us here for a 2nd opinion and we waited for almost 6 hours to be seen by a tired, grumpy Asian doctor who had no compassion left in him at the time. The hospital is clearly underfunded and understaffed.

Not a very good review Middlemore hospital, and understandably so, my recent visit was shocking, visiting a friend of mine, the treatment that the elderly gentleman next to him was so uncalled for. Absolutely NO!! respect or dignity shown, that was disturbing and sad to see, I had to console him when the nurse left. I still visited him after my friend was released, concerned for his well being. I hope the managing directors read these reviews, maybe one in a few, but it only takes one bad apple to spoil the rest.

Best nurses ever in this Hospital they looked after me so well.i didnt feel lonely at all,thank you so much to the doctors on duty.I was admitted here being a tourist this hospital made me feel comfortable. Olini Susau
