Mince with rice was yummy. Noodles with mince was bland - needed a bit more seasoning and chilli oil. Fried chicken was very tasty as was the egg pancake. Unfortunately they ran out of the sticky rice. Will have to try next time.
Lovely small Taiwanese restaurant with authentic Taiwanese food.nnBought the bento from branch. Portion for takeaway is large and the price is reasonable. The fried chicken fillets are delicious and you get to choose three side dishes.nnThe rice balls that they sell for breakfast is also a must try - was told the dried radish is homemade. No wonder it’s very crunchy.
The dishes we ordered were quite good. The fried chicken steak was the real standout. There's a few Taiwanese restaurants in the southside now and the fried chicken here is one of the best. The rice noodles were simple yet had a clean tasting broth. My pork with mushrooms over noodles was alright but I found it a little dry, more sauce was needed and noodles could of been more Al dente. The rice milk drink and winter melon drink are worth trying too. Overall this small family run Taiwanese restaurant is worth trying, customer service was good. There is a surcharge when using EFTPOS, so bring cash if you don't want to be charged 1.5%. I'd like to comeback to try their breakfast menu.
Visited during the opening and ordered 3 meals with 3 free drinks and 10% off!nnThe rice noodles were delicious and flavourful, texture was lovely with some peanuts in the soup. The other noodle soup on the other hand had good broth but the noodles tasted like store bought udon. I would recommend ordering the rice noodles :-nnFried chicken and pork chop was extremely yum and the braised tofu was fantastic as well.nnWe had the rice milk tasted like a lighter version of black sesame paste, soy milk extremely yum and wintermelon tea.nnService was fantastic!!!!!!nnWould return if in the vicinity! :-
Went to this shop a total of 3 times, and I always forgot to take pics. This time, I took photos of 2 dishes, but I forgot about others, which was served later. I always tried different food to experience the taste. Very authentic taiwan food, taste is excellent and price is reasonable. Always take away their famous mushroom minced meat rice. Also, today, purchase $200 worth of vouchers, which comes together with a fan club card that can have further discounts.
