Really delicious food, came here for the big plate chicken, we added seafood, the seafood was surprisingly fresh and good value.nOrder sizzling beef that recommended by the staff.nAnd be careful the $9 of bbq stew was huge!nAll the dishes were amazingly yum and huge amount.nn definitely will return.

I visited Loulan Halal Restaurant in Sunnybank yesterday for dinner and had a wonderful experience. From the moment I walked in, the warm hospitality and calm atmosphere made me feel welcome. The restaurant is clean, spacious, and beautifully decorated with traditional cultural touches that create a pleasant dining environment.nnThe food was the highlight of the visit. Each dish was freshly prepared, full of flavour, and served in generous portions. The lamb dishes, in particular, were tender and perfectly seasoned, capturing the authentic taste of Xinjiang-style halal cuisine. The handmade noodles were another standout — soft, chewy, and cooked to perfection. You can really taste the freshness and quality in every bite.nnService was friendly and attentive. The staff checked in regularly to ensure everything was fine and were happy to explain menu items. Even though the restaurant was busy, the food arrived in good time.nnOverall, Loulan Halal offers great value for money, delicious food, and a comfortable atmosphere suitable for both families and small groups. I left fully satisfied and look forward to returning soon to try more dishes. Highly recommended for anyone looking for authentic, flavourful halal dining in Sunnybank!

Edit: we came again on a rainy day so it was quiet. Food came a lot quicker. We got the tea and the yoghurt to try too. The tea was like a nice, toned down chai tea- quite nice. The yoghurt was nice but probably a bit too much for us and a bit too cold? Given the weathernnWe also ate the chicken rice dish, which was quite nice with unique flavours. We got the dumplings lamb and beef. Both were good but nothing super special!nn———nnReally busy and it was difficult to get a seat. We were seated at the table closest to the entrance, which was probably not the best seat hahah wouldn’t recommend it as it has a cold wind every time someone opens the front door, and also every time the fridge behind us was opened - which was VERY frequent.nnWe had to wait a good 20-30 mins for food. The food was good though. I highly recommend the eggplant dish!

I tried the lamb dish at Loulan Halal Restaurant and it was honestly one of the best I’ve had in a long time. The meat was so tender, juicy, and full of flavour, you could tell it was cooked with care. The spices were just right, not overpowering, and everything tasted so fresh. The atmosphere felt warm and welcoming, and the staff were lovely too. I’ll definitely be coming back!

A family favourite of mine, come here everytime I visit Brisbane and bring the family. Food is tasty, and everything comes out rather quickly. It’s a great location option for those looking for some authentic food.
