Great atmosphere and loved the decor. The food came out quickly and fresh. I only have two critics : 1 as soon as we entered the restaurant, we waited for about 10 minutes before we were actually acknowledged albeit several wait staff walking passed us and 2 although food was delicious, the serving size was smaller than we expected which meant the $70 we paid for 1× entree, 2 x main & 1 drink didn't stack up for us. I would go back again for the nachos but maybe visit the Dirty Lands instead.
Mexicanos is one of the best Mexican food restaurants in Christchurch, if not the best. Amazing food every time, great friendly service, awesome value for money and the food comes out so quickly! Have never had a bad experience here, highly recommend.
I don't usually like Mexican but this was an exception. Cornchips and dip was yummy, skewers, chicken and prawn tacos were delicious. The fish dish was tasty, a little dry on the edges around the plate but overall loved the experience and food.
Really good customer service. My husband has autism and we ask for another table and straight away they got the table prepared. They said go to the bar if we like to get our drinks. Straight away the bar lady told us the specials. Then our table was ready and they brought over our drink. Then we ordered straight away. The food was really nice and same with our slushie drinks. First time I've given a 5 star rating. We will be back.
Been there on Saturday night with a frend of mine. Its way too noisy place. Most of their food tasted like pure lemons . Size of the dishes is way to small as per price.Recommended dishesQuesadillas
Went for a last minute dinner on Sunday night and it was great. We had the potato skins and arrancini to start and then I went for something different to what I normally would and got beef skewers and zucchini as a side. It was delicious! And a classic marg too.
Service and atmosphere was incredible. Food was good but not amazing. The staff were so hospitable.Food: 4/5
Really good tacos and margaritas and the staff were also really nice. Only downside is the bar stool type seating, but you can overlook it with the food.
The food was wonderful and tasty! I highly recommend the fish taco and the soft shell crab taco! There was a tiny issue with our order and the manager sorted it out straight away with professionalism and a smile. We were very impressed. The whole experience was truly lovely. Thank you
Awesome atmosphere, service and food. Celebrated our girlfriends birthday here we missed our booking so sat at the bar & Zack at the bar was just too good. We finally got an empty table but preferred sitting at the bar with our new friend Zack who kept our cocktails flowing with friendly conversations. Would definitely celebrate more special occasions here with others. THANKS HEAPS
