Went there due to very good online reviews and were not disappointed. Curry was absolutely delicious, went back the next day to get the special of the day which also was delicious. Clerks are super nice, the price (compared to other restaurants in NZ) is more than fair. Highly recommended!

This was surprisingly good. I didn't expect proper authentic Thai food in Christchurch (thought I'd get some westernised version) but the food we got at Mama Ree's was actually pretty close to what you get in Thailand. Of course it's not properly authentic but it was still tasty. The price was really good as well. Would definitely go back next time I'm nearby.

Tarahiki fish of the day was perfectly cooked with garlic pepper sauce (29 from menu). I like the cosy ambiance and authentic Thai feel of the place, highly recommended!

I've been here a few times now and the standard stays very high. The food is excellent and spiced to Kiwi liking. I have the hit and it is very good. Will try the Thai hot next time. Simple restaurant with excellent happy staff. You are always greeted with a smile and excellent attentive service. A small negative was the Crispy Squid tonight - portion size was very good but the squid was a bit chewy. Taste was very good though. The red curry was amazing with lots of chicken and vegetables. I'll always come back.
