Bright and airy space that's really enjoyable to sit in (with an impressive fiddle leaf fig at the door). The coffee has been fantastic every time I've come here, strong and delicious flavour - I always end up scooping the left-over milk out of my cup. Also want to know where they buy their cups from as they are super cute.

Reuben & Nikki have done a fantastic job with this new cafe. They roast their own coffee beans and have plenty of experience; this is the best coffee in the area. Hawthorn has plenty of excellent cafe fare, but Methodist is #1 in my opinion. I'd highly recommend that you check out their delicious coffee and food.

Food here's fantastic. Have been pining for fried chicken and rosemary waffles ever since Mr Big Stuff closed down in the city, and was pretty stoked to see them on the menu here. They gave me far too much chicken (almost broke me - I swear they gave me half a chicken) but I suppose that's better than too little. Super tasty. Also recommend the roasted cauliflower dish, amazing. So much going on, so many complementary flavours. Found the booths a little uncomfortable but that could just be me (and it definitely wouldn't stop me from coming back to eat here again). Coffee's good, service is great. There are a lot of good cafes / restaurants in this area and I'd definitely put Methodist in the top three. 👍

Consistently good food and coffee with a nice bright white interior. Have only been here on the weekend and I haven’t had to wait long for a table which is nice. Friendly staff helpful staff.

Great coffee but the food isn’t that great. With an almost scientific approach to making coffee you can expect great coffees here. If only they took the same approach to making food. Perhaps I just tried the wrong thing on the menu. Will need to come back and give it another try. Overall the service was great and the place itself is clean and minimalist.
