It is hard to get a table sometimes because coffee is probably the best in the city! Excellent taste and very friendly stuff. Totally worth waiting or even drink takeaway.

Rare slip ups with my coffee, however when they do, they would happily replace it and apologise. Not to mention excellent customer service! But, they need to expand. Competition for a proper table is quite high. One time, a well dressed more matured woman scolded me for being the first person to take an empty table. When I told her, “I’m happy to share however, I will be joined by my 4 year old son and sister if you don’t mind”. All hell broke loose! Must avoid busy times.

Really lovely staff and a great shop. Coffee was awesome too. We love working with and drinking coffee with Merlo

This place has improved, with attentive and helpful staff. The coffee appears better, too. The location is a little noisy, but they've stopped trying to compete with the mall's music, and it's undeniably a convenient location for the Coles and the car park. Tip: sit at the table nearest Coles, and you can get the Coles wifi.

Probably the only Merlo I've been too where the beans were not burnt. Really great coffee. My only issue was filling the cup right to the brim, makes it spill out when you are walking. Definitely not a deal breaker, but worth considering if you are getting a coffee to go...maybe take a sip or two before you set off!
