We are Vic Roads licensed vehicle testers.
Mentone Motafix is a VACC approved member.
Loan Cars are also available at NO CHARGE when booked in advance. You pay only for the petrol used.
Mentone Motafix proudly recycles all plastics, paper, metal, oil filters, coolant, oil, batteries, aerosol cans and oily rags.

I was referred several years ago by a friend & have to say Robert & his team are the best mechanics I have had in 30 years of owning cars. The servicing, diagnostics  and repairs are always explained clearly beforehand, with estimated cost. The invoice is explained in detail as is any anticipated future work. Robert is friendly and professional and recently pulled out all the stops to complete unexpected works to my vehicle prior to a long road trip. Would not recommend this mechanic from my experience. Had my Toyota Corolla booked for regular service with no issues to report. First thing he said to me was “let’s see what we can find”. He replaces the windscreen wipers because they were “stiff” and vacuumed leaves out of the car along with other things. It would have been funny except he charged me $650 for this. And he didn’t ask if I’d like these things done he just told me and gave me the bill.

I have now been bringing my car for repairs and maintenance services for over 4 years. Every time I am well looked after by all the staff, especially David himself. My two boys just adore them all with their extensive knowledge and thier ability to answer any questions. I love that everything is explained to me so that I understand fully what's going to happen during as well as once I pick up my car. They offer loan cars when they can and I really appreciate this most. Thanks to you all!!

Great place, great prices, great team. Have taken my car here for the past few years after having problems with the Ford dealership. MotaFix beat the prices of what ford quoted me on a consistent basis and now it's at a point where I don't even bother with ford. I recommend this place to all my family and friends and never had a problem.

I have been getting my vehicles serviced by Rob and previously Dave for years.  The service is always fantastic, quality of repairs excellent and you are kept fully informed of all tasks they undertake.  My Son's now take their cars there and they are just as happy. A wonderful local business which I could not recommend more highly.

I am a local of Mentone for over 10 years and have been going there since day 1.  I still have the same 2 cars and they get regularly serviced to the book by the team. The service is great and I totally trust them with everything that is done. It is fully explained to me and even my old parts are sometimes shown to me!! It's a real gem to know a trust worthy mechanic and also its a plus thats its a family run business!

Took my car to Mentone Mota Fix yesterday for the first time and found the whole experience terrific!  Rob touched base during the day in regard to any issues and provided a detailed statement at the end of the day showing what had been done, and what needs to be done in the future.  He explained everything in detail when I collected my car.  Amazing service!  I feel that Mota Fix are truly a professional and quality workshop that you can trust to really look after your car at a good price.
