I think this might be one of the best venues I've been to in a while.  Amazing staff, elegant setting and they perfect setup.
Wouldn't hesitate to go to events there again.

Great live music venue. plus the bar staff are friendly as well.  Also has great entertainment to suit everyone styles.  Plus it's mainly for the older ones who are over 30 years old and older.  So no trouble makers causing trouble.  Plus the location is handy as well as there's public transportation near by and great food venues as well. from vegan to normal cafes and restaurants as well.

Cool place to watch live bands, but squeezing 4 people on to such small tables is a bit awkward...the venue is nearly 100 years old, but it only adds to the experience...heaps of great restaurants, bars & cafes in Acland St to have a meal or a drink before the show...
