Great range and knowledgeable staff, but forget walking in without a hi-vis and steel toes. Three times I've gone in looking for a specific length of cheap radiata pine in jeans and a t-shirt, and three times I've been given bizarre quotes for something I'm not after. $130 for a 3-meter length of one-by-four? Yeah, nah. Sorry guys. It sucks having to make treks out to Bunnings when these guys are just around the corner.

I have been renovating my home for the last year and Melville timber was my first point of call. These guys are friendly knowledgable and work hard. If you are a Tradie or have some real building to do and want to choose from a vast range of quality builders hardware, drop in and be impressed!

Tony has transformed his timber yard into one of the best trade centres in Melbourne and he and his staff provide the customer with expert advice on all timber projects from building a pergola or deck to bigger jobs like home extensions. You will always get the right information at Melville Timber not to mention very competitive prices - I highly recommend this business to any one looking for quality timber and sound advice.
