Generally wouldn’t recommend buying cheap tools, but for things you’re only going to use occasionally it’s nice not to have to spend an arm and a leg. Huge range of tools laid out in a bazaar like fashion. Worth a look if you’re after something affordable
Great shop for specialised tooling like engineering lathe and milling machine tools and accessories and also all your every day bits and pieces, castors, nuts and bolts, sand paper and emery cloths, etc... Also very helpful, quite knowledgeable and polite service! And at very fair prices too! Definitely worth a half hour or more drive to.
Amazing store, such a friendly and helpful owner! Sells sandpaper by the meter and screws and drill bits individually. It’s like a candy store!

This place is a treasure trove of tools ranging from handyman-type level, through to light industrial. My particular need is for metal lathe turning and milling tips, accessories, and tool-making vices and clamp assemblies - - and he's got the lot! He also has obscure items that the other retail-chain-type tool stores wouldn't even be aware of. The proprietor is extremely knowledgeable about which tools and tips will work successfully with various processes and can usually make very helpful suggestions. His prices are also highly reasonable. His vast engineering knowledge provides a welcome and refreshing change to the unfortunate dumbed-down trend of staff at other retail-chain-type tool stores having little or no engineering skill, knowledge or experience. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
Huge range of tools, from standard hardware store stuff to speciality machine tools, welding equipment, fixtures etc. Prices are good and there is a decent range in quality. Very convenient opening hours and David is really helpful.
A wide range of tools at fair prices, mostly hand tools and accessories but you could find anything. It's a bit like a trash and treasure market. Be discerning with your choice, for every decent tool in store there is also a poorly made cheapo just waiting to fail on you. Give 'em a go before you next head to the big chain hardware stores, at least to compare.
Came here in search of alternative to Bunnings some good old fashioned personalised service, and I struck gold, and left with all I needed. I'll be back. Thanks for your care and making sure I had all the bits of bolts and tools I needed to carry out my garden project.
I love this store as you can find all sorts of odds and ends, the best thing is being able to buy individual screws and bolts instead of have to buy a whole packet . Good prices and the guy is always happy to help. 8-5 Mon-Fri 8-12 Sat
