I dealt with Dr. Hamza for my myofascial pain syndrome. The only option he said was Norsapan patches (24/7 opioid). This didn’t help me and he said there were no other options, that was IT. After learning more about pain management and all of the safer and smarter options, I am still astounded he didn’y suggest it try anything else and that he promoted opioids as my *only* option. This lead me down a horrible path, luckily I told him I wanted to stop!! I now have to find another clinic and it’s really upsetting they don’t have the education to treat chronic pain patients. He then referred me to a pain clinic program on the other side of the city!! (Over an hour away). Which I never did because it just wasn’t appropriate for me. Very unhelpful.
