Excellent space for all types of events.nIt has a good number of hotels and restaurants around it. We stayed at AC Marriott few metres away.nnIf you like Indian food then The Submit Nepalese & Indian restaurant.nnDFO shops are also on the same site and seems very busy with another food court in the basement.nnNice walk around at night.
The Melbourne Motor Show 2025 was a fantastic comeback! Loved the mix of new models from MG, Tesla, and BYD, plus the cool aftermarket vibe with Hot Wheels and LEGO displays. The Test Drive Zone was fun but could use more cars. Crowds were hectic on Saturday, but the energy was electric. Great family day out—can’t wait for next year!
The EV car show was on. Booking online through Ticket Master was a ripoff @$67 vs $40 at the door. Great selection of vehicles, and interesting panel discussions. A must-see expo.
We had a great experience at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre during the Foodservice Australia show we participated in. The venue is well-equipped — we especially appreciated the bright cooling lighting and the excellent air flow throughout the space, which made us feel conformable in doing the business talk :nnIt’s also impressive to see their commitment to sustainability. The clearly marked waste bins for different disposable items encourage responsible recycling and support a circular economynnPlus very convenient accessing to the premium hotels and enjoy the angle view of Melbourne Convention Centre and Melbourne City
An amazing venue for so many events! We Melburnians are spoilt for choice here. It's an ever changing array of exhibitions, performances and all round fun things to do. There are cafes located within the centre. Lots of amenities with great mobility access, all very clean as well. Some events also offer subsidised parking as well. Public transport to the venue is a breeze as trams stop right out the front and Southern Cross Train station is a short 5 minute walk away.
