I attended the PIA Congress at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre over three days and found it to be an exceptional venue for such an event. The facilities are modern and well-maintained, with spacious conference rooms that allowed for seamless presentations and interactive sessions. The sound system and acoustics were excellent, ensuring that speakers were clearly audible, even in larger halls.nThe location is also a major advantage, being central and easily accessible via public transport. The proximity to the South Wharf provided great options for lunch and networking during breaks, enhancing the overall experience.nOverall, MCEC provided a great setting for the PIA Congress, and I would recommend it for future conferences.
Have attended many events here, the latest was PAX.nThe hall is very nice and spacious. Quick and easy access to the parking below and to outdoor areas.nnBunch of cafes and restaurants within the building and close by.nnA nice prayer area also.
Huge exhibition and conference centre in the heart of Melbourne. The multi venue place has an exhibition hall and theatre centre. The venue is located across from Crown and is serviced by a tram stop directly outside. Also has a huge car park.nThe boardwalk along the conference centre has plenty of eateries and also a Big Wheel attraction.nCould use more toilets as when there is a big convention like PAX it gets super busy.nThere is plenty of seating for rest stops which is great as it’s a large venue.
It is my first time visiting the FINE FOOD exhibition at the Melbourne Convention Centre. The layout was well understood, the stalls were well organised into different sections. The entry QR code registry was efficient*
