I have been waiting on the phone for 1 hour, and just wanted to ask questions about assurance of support, it's very important for my parents visa applications, and I got told she doesn't know anything about this no matter what questions regarding assurance of support. she said I will have to wait to be called by someone else, and she doesn't know when will call me.
I got there to ask a question, they did not even listen to me and I had to repeat the question 3 times. I did not find some of the employees helpful at all. They wasted 30 mins of my time and told me to call someone else.
Sometimes it’s about the finding the right person to solve your problem. I was having a nightmare of a problem with my vaccination certificate. After being on phone calls for over 8 hours with different departments. Mr Jag Jeet at Service Australia was able to temporarily solve my issue. Thanks to him and the staff at Services Australia Perth. I also for the first time saw how difficult it is to work at such institutions as they have to be really patient with some troublemakers. Kudos to the staff. Clearly under-staffed though. Thanks again.
The staff was very helpful and friendly . Best is not to go at lunchtime I was at 1.10 pm as I guess the staff goes for lunch at that time , one by one. It took me 25 minutes to be seen by the officer and there were only 3 pax a head of me . I just have not been in centrelink for ages . I guess it was not that long . Just plan your day . If you are driving to CBD , best is to park in His Majesty Carpark on Murray street you can walk out to Hay street aswell which is only 5 minutes walking distance and you do not have to worry that it took too long . Usually the parking on Murray street or Hay street is for 30 minutes . Also there are couple of good coffee-houses around .

On Friday 8/9/21 at about 4pm I called Centrelink but unsure which office. I spoke to a lady called Janey. I needed to speak to customer service to sort out an issue with my change of address & other details. It didn’t take Janey too long to hear the problem, then completely sort the problem. I was impressed by the customer service & also she was kind & extremely caring. Thankyou very much for looking after me on that day. It was much appreciated.
Having newly arrived from Europe to start our new lives in Australia, we went straight to the centre to register for our Medicare. The front door attendant was abrasive but helpful and registered us to see an advisor. We sat down, filled out the appropriate forms and within 5 minutes were called out. Our advisor Sabina was courteous and very helpful, and we achieved everything we needed in the space of 30 mins. I should point out that was during the first week of January during the school holidays, so perhaps it was quieter than normal work weeks. However our experience was positive.
My first visit to Medicare section of Perth MyGov was very good, much better than I was expected. My experience with ATO was a good one too. The second visit to Medicare however was terrible. The lady Sabina was absolutely incapable to even understand what the problem is let alone helping! I had to repeat myself few times. Anyway, I decided to leave without wasting my time any further.
I needed to produce identity documents for my pension and checked the MyGov Web site to check if it provided a Centrelink Service. The Web Page was headed by a large Centrelink Display and on the left it highlighted Centrelink's services. Having confirmed that it does provide Centrrelink services, I made a special trip into Perth to get my documents verified. I was informed that my trip was wasted as the office has nothing to do with Centrelink. The website was inaccurate and caused me to rearrange my other appointment and wasted a morning of my time.
