It opens at 8.15 am and I reached there at around 8.30 am just to find a long queue.nnThere are so many counters and also out of counter helpers. Though I had to wait for half an hour, service was quick and efficient.nnThis means it would be better to get there early as the queue starts getting longer and longer with time.nnOne more thing is it's very difficult to get empty parking space. There is also no public toilet, which indeed is too bad for an office that serves these many people.
Very busy place, but the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. I had to return my car plate after my car was written off, and I made the process smoother by printing and filling out the form online beforehand. It still took a bit of time due to the crowd, but the staff made sure everything was handled efficiently and with a smile. Definitely appreciate their assistance!
It shouldn’t surprise me by now how backwards DOT centres are low staffed no seating care less attitude from the agents. After I mentioned to the agent I have all the forms and inspections done she proceeded to give me the same forms lol anyway only 90mins in should be down hill from here ? Lol also parking ticket in the carpark … I you have to hand in your plates so your car is parked without plates in a plate recognition carpark lol pod if you pay cash you wait longer !! Pro tip. So I left after 2 hrs drive to mirrabooka and got in 14 mins !! And the guy here said it’s gonna be a log wait lol
Arrived 25 minutes before opening there was already 10-15 people in front of us. Once doors opened it was very quick, a lady gave us a ticket then we sat down and waited for an other 20 minutes. Many desks were opened. The lady at our desk was so quick, efficient & helpful. She transferred my overseas drivers license in a few minutes, took my photo then we were out! Would really recommend getting there early as during the day the wait time would probably be longer.
Service was amazing. The staff are clearly very busy, however, they are helpful and organised.nI got there for opening time and there already was a decent queue. You get a ticket with a number on it on arrival, I was seen about 30 minutes after that.nI was seen by Amina, who helped with everything I needed. She was patient and gave great customer service. Thank you so much.
