I went to see Dr Grace, reluctantly because I’ve had bad experiences with him in the past, twice in 1 week, he was happy at first to listen and give me a script for something fairly simple but when I started explaining the complications I was having and requested a blood test and urine sample, he muttered one thing at a time couldn’t get rid of me quick enough. After the second visit and still no luck with getting any tests done I sought a second opinion. Bloods and urinate tested immediately and had results within 12 hours, type 3 kidney disease. Poor form Dr Grace and you really don’t need to be so arrogant to your patients. Remember you work at a bulk billing clinic, people don’t choose to see you, they have little other choice .
Went to see doctor Carl Grace at this medical centre. Hadn’t been here for a few years but was a regular patient was I was younger. He was rude from the get go. The first thing he said to me when I walked in the room was why didn’t you go see your regular doctor and that he was sick of patients coming in that weren’t regulars as it’s a “ waste of his time.” He then continued to say that he didn’t want to see me but he would. Was hardly listening to me and just wanted to rush me out Mind you I was very sick and needed medication urgently and couldn’t get into my normal doctor. Don’t go to this doctor he does not care about your well being, rude and arrogant a hole
My kids and I have always gone here, but last week I went in with my 4-year-old son and was unable to see my usual doctor so had to see Dr Grace. The moment I started telling him my issues that I had to repeat 3 times I got "what would you like me to do about it" and told me to "see my usual doctor" and that was the end of that. When he was giving my 4-year-old his needles he wasn't gentle about it, just stabbed it in his arm. He had to have 2 jabs and he put them both in the same arm, I've always had doctors do one in each arm apart from Dr Grace. I was NOT happy with the medical support I got for him and the carelessness he gave my child!!!!
Avoid Dr Carl Grace. I get the impression he’s just too old, over it and wants to retire. Practically wanted me to leave before I’d even got myself through the door. I went to him with severe back pain a few months back, only to be told I’m wasting my time and fobbed me off with painkillers. Went to another GP who discovered I had three compression fractures in my spine. Go to someone who cares, this guy doesn’t. As others have pointed out, he should remind himself that he works at a bulk-billing clinic. People reluctantly book appointments with him in most cases because he is literally the only option left. It certainly isn’t because of his qualifications and clearly doesn’t have a good reputation to gloat about.
I booked an apointment at 10:30 am, Wednesday 22/12/22. I waiten an hour before seeing a doctor, there were patients who arrived well after me and were seeing the doctor, when l inquired at reception l was told that they booked before me which wad not so. They deliberately sent people in who obviously came well after me. The doctor was fine, as for the receptionists, well, garbage in, garbage out. As a result l was late for work. Why they would lie, keep you waitting for an hour, l would like to know. If they emply decent, compettent and honest receptionists, l certsinly will return.
Dont bother going here, don't know how these gps can even call themselves that. I couldnt get in at my usual clinic to be seen and was hoping dr grace could do a full checkup as I have been really unwell the last 6 days, he wouldnt even touch me and told me to go to the other clinic I usually go to for my check up. Don't know how this clinic is still operating I thought my experience's with it would have changed since the last time. I definitely won't be back!
6 months ago went to see my regular doctor who was Dr Hassan was previously a really nice person, 6 months ago I came down with heart palpitations and weird pains, prescribed some heart medication, tried it, but slowed me down too much, changed it to a an antidepressant I kept going back saying i’m shaking as well. Had a CT of the heart calcium score came back ok, Still shaking with high heart rate, lifted my shirt to show a rash on stomach, saying i’m not making this up, CT allergy rash, then asked for a full body MRI he said “ somewhere else might do this not me” conflict of interest because I lifted my shirt to show a rash on stomach. Went over to Health E Medical, same deal they have left me for dead because bloods came back good. Perfectly functional teacher, had the jab program and now dying. Had SARS in New Orleans before the jab program nothing wrong with me when I returned home.
Saved my life in 2014. Have looked after me since and I wouldn't trust anyone else. Great Doctor's. The reception staff are the best. They are incredible. I've been going there for 27 years.
Doesn't do walk in patients and won't take any new patients. I am not from Geelong and need medical attention but they would not assist. How can this be. The receptionist at least suggested two places that would do walk in but they are not nearby.
I attended on a public holiday, as all other clinics were closed. I thought that Dr Hassan was very thorough and did not rush. His diagnosis was correct and he made follow-up phonecalls to check my progress.during my recovery. I'm very impressed with my treatment from this very caring, competent doctor.
