I initially approached McLachlan 3 years ago to get the ball rolling on some planning for our house while finalizing our land. Unfortunately the process of getting everything in order on my end was delayed significantly. So Richard and Robert had to put up with us being in contact sporadically over a 2 year period before finally locking in a contract. They were always a pleasure to deal with and helped us end up with the design we wanted, nothing was ever too much trouble. It was a sad day when Richard informed us we were to move on to the next team in the process. Thankfully the rest of the team we dealt with was just as good! Stacey-Lee and Angela in the office were right on top of everything from the word go and kept us well informed at every stage of the process. Super approachable and really cared that our house build went well. Our site supervisor Nick was a superstar, keeping us in the loop regarding progress and making sure everything went off without a hitch. He accomplished the impossible task of getting us in well ahead of schedule before Christmas so we had time to move in before our baby arrives. The whole team has been fantastic and I would recommend them in a heartbeat to anyone looking to build. Thank you McLachlan homes!
After having difficulties with another builder during the design and quoting stage and having prices nearly double to what we had initially been told, a friend recommended McLachlan homes. We have since moved into our beautiful home built by Brad and his team. The entire process from our initial meetings with Richard to the final handover were expertly handled with honesty and professionalism. We strongly recommend McLachlan homes to others and if we build again will have no hesitation in building with them again.
McLachlan Homes have been one of the best companies we have ever worked with. Our house was built fast and efficiently. Well within the time frame given, with no hold ups, even though the industry was experiencing extreme supply issues at the time. We went in with an idea and it has been delivered exactly as we had imagined it and with an extremely high-end finish. Thank you to the management and staff. We are extremely happy with our new home.
It has been a great pleasure working with you all. I feel the home owner's anxiety has been minimized with Mclachlan during the build process. I have the strong feeling that Mclachlan is a well organized being, sticking to contractual promises. Unlike many other owners who were heard of complaining about the "build torture", I feel the "build pleasure" most of the time. Thanks for your support and helpfulness along the way. A little peace of mind is such a luxury nowadays.
They were outstanding! From the initial discussion with the wonderful Niel who worked with us on the plans to the on-site work with Luke the supervisor and the team of happy workers, the whole job went like clockwork. Thanks also to the office staff - Cody, always helpful and cheerful and Angela who looked after the progress payments in a timely and very polite way. Every Friday, Luke would update us on the progress for the week and work scheduled for the upcoming week. A few little issues as you would expect but Luke was all over them and they were sorted with a minimum of fuss. Before handover, Luke also went through and identified some minor defects that we hadn't even noticed, and the handover was very detailed and included a very nice and really appreciated gift from Mclachlan homes. Recommend this company to anyone looking for a great job at a fair price. One interesting observation in the office was a wall plaque and most of the people had been in the company for many years which in itself is unusual but highlights a company that looks after it's people which, in turn, develops people who look after the company and its customers. Our experience with McLachlan was great from start to finish. Starting with Richard down at there burpengary display home. Very knowledgeable, efficient easy to deal with. Sophie looked after the contract and variations. Nothing was to hard and we got all our answers and responses very quickly. Aaron our site supervisor kept us in the loop on a weekly bases with multiple site meeting and discussions. His organisation, management of trades and attention to detail was exceptional. Being in the building industry myself, McLachlan allowed us to remove items from the build and use our own trades to complete these works. There finishes and build quality was exceptional. Would certainly recommend them to anyone wanting to build there dream home.
We are absolutely over the moon with our new home at Bokarina Beach! From start to finish, McLachlan were amazing. Adam Mauer McLachlan Architect guided us through the designing of our home from the start. We were able to customise it to suit our needs and our family. A beautifully simple and elegant design. Our site supervisor Dave McGinn was a legend from the beginning. No question or query was too hard. He kept us in the loop with everything and made sure we were communicated with every step of the way. From slab pour to final walk through, Dave was always there and always contactable. As far as the admin / paperwork side went, Sarah Manz in the office was also super easy to deal with and made a normally complicated situation very easy. The quality and finishes of the build is great. And any little things that needed attention were dealt with quickly and resolved easily. McLachlan Homes clearly pride themselves on designing and producing a great quality final product. Overall, the experience was fab and our new home is a dream. I cannot recommend McLachlan homes highly enough. Thanks again! Tracy & Jon :
