Very disappointing experience at McDonald's Manurewa as an Uber Eats delivery driver.nnI waited more than 25 minutes for an order. During that time, a staff memberIslander Girl saw me at the pickup window several times but did not hand over my order or provide any update. Even i can clearly saw that my order was ready placed near window.nnWhat made the situation even more upsetting was that it felt like I was being treated differently from local delivery driver. As an Indian/Asian driver, I couldn't understand why I was repeatedly ignored while other was assisted. Whether intentional or not, the experience left me feeling singled out and disrespected.nnAfter waiting for a long time, I went through the drive-thru to ask about the order, only to be told that Uber Eats orders must be collected at the window. The problem was that I had already been waiting at the window for over 25 minutes and had been overlooked multiple times.nAt the end i had to cancel this order because i don't wanna go talk with that same local girl.nnThe staff member's attitude was rude, dismissive, and unprofessional. Delivery drivers play an important role in the business and deserve to be treated with the same respect as customers and other drivers.nnThis was one of the worst pickup experiences I have had, and I hope management reviews both the staff behaviour and the way delivery drivers are treated at this store.
Avoid Manurewa at all costs. Dry distasteful disgusting. No sauce, no famous gherkin.... probably the worst burger I've ever had in my life. Service is slow. Happened to be close any hungry at the time. Thought it's McDonald's, trust the name. Huge mistake, should have checked reviews first. My bad
Great service had a $300 order and they had it ready so much faster than expected and staff were very friendly. The only downside is the people asking for money at the end of the drive through lol
We got a meal and a Matcha latte - after waiting around 10 mins in drive thru, we received like warm food and barely warm latte with cold syrup. For the amount of time we waited I assumed it would be fresh and hot but it was miserably cold. The staff were friendly, but the food wasn’t at a standard that it should be. Probably been sitting in a tray for over an hour. Ended up throwing it all out except the Sprite Zero.
Went to this McDonalds in the morning with a group of friends. 24 Minutes it took for them to call my number for my food, waste of my time! Some of my friends had got their orders with me receiving mine last. Keep in mind they did not forget my order as after 20 minutes I went up to ask about my order and they stated it was on their way. After receiving my order I was already pissed off and then I went to try a fry, it was overcooked and cold. I then went up to the counter and asked for new fries and they were hot this time but overcooked again! I even got my opinions from my friends and they thought the same. By this time all my friends had finished their meals so I decided to take it home and finish it there as time is valuable! When I got home and started eating my breakfast wrap which I asked for lettuce to be put in there was nothing which means I wasted my money even though it was only 70c. I would also like to give thanks to the McCafé worker as she was fast and called our numbers in a reasonable time frame. Overall I am deeply dissatisfied and disappointed with my experience from this McDonalds, I thought it was called fast food for a reason!
