Many people stopped at this McDonald's before heading out of Auckland. Very convenient meeting place with group of friends. Always busy. Convenient to get food but always dirty. Not very hygienic. One of the things I afraid to visit is the McDonald toilet. Try to avoid visit the toilet if you can.
I asked for extra sauce and they clearly gave it to me. It wasn’t the best maccas but also wasn’t the worst. I would come here again though
Place was like a building site last Wednesday, lad up on a ladder changing lights, no bartiers or clean up as you go, truely shocking
We stop here often but won’t be going forward. It was 7:30 am and yet it was an absolute mess. No clean tables, food on the floor, bins full to overflowing with rubbish. That would have been ok but the food prep was sadly poor. Burnt coffee, bacon and egg McMuffin that looked deconstructed and liquid wip cream on the hot cakes. Very disappointing.
Staff very focused, attentive ,polite ,professional, worked as a team, time efficient with orders regardless of how busy it was on the day after New Years day. Other McDonalds could learn alot from this McDonalds staff members. All foods came out correct , fresh & hot. Happy Costumer here, thanks you Parking: It's a stop off the motorway, people are curious and patient, mindful of people and kids crossing the road. No idiot speedsters. Wheelchair accessibility: Nothing complicated for a wheelchair not to get access too, also toilets are in a good space, easy to find.
Needed more staff on to cope with the numbers after guns and Roses concert. Took over 40 mins to get fed. Management should take a good hard look at themselves.Food: 5/5
Something is lacking in the last pandemic years? I have visited this McDonald's for 18 years and for whatever reason it has gone downhill rather dramatically. We will have to try to find another food stop for our road trips as the Cafe next door has unappetising cabinet food.Food: 2/5
The food is the same as anywhere...but this has got to be the slowest McDonalds I've been to...in the world! They are so relaxed and slow....chronic! They don't have a Drive Thru...they would never cope. These guys need to do some time at Mangere Town Centre...that would get them cracking!!
I walked up to the empty counter with a smile and said good morning. The blond female at the counter said sternly "order at the booths". I was a bit taken aback but went up to the booths, got to the last screen and the payment system wasn't working. Frustrated I walked up to the counter and asked if I could please order there. The other blond young female said sternly "no, you have to order at the booths. You can pay at the counter". A confusing response as there was no indication on the screen that I can do that, and they clearly don't want me at the counter. I asked why can't you help me? Again "order at the booths". She must have been able to tell that I was getting angry because as I turned to walk back to the booth to try and figure this out, she called out "I don't care why you're getting angry! You have to order at the booth!". I didn't bight. I tapped the screen where it then had the option to pay at counter. As I went to pay, this time at the cafe counter, I was greeted by a lovely lady with a big smile. I asked her why I can't order at the other counter and she explained that it's because they don't have the plexy glass barriers there. WOW if only the other rude two individuals could have explained that. So they were rude in the interest of public safety? As I was waiting for my order, another gentleman was treated the same way and was equally frustrated. He went to the counter to explain that the payment system wasn't working. The blond manager again tried to brush him off but didn't budge, so she gave in and went out to show him how to do it. She went out and stood within 30cm of three customers! She touched the screen with her gloveless hand then went back inside and without washing her hands started filling drinks, handling the lids inside and out, then kept handling other food. Some people just should not work in customer service and both of these two young women are prime examples of that. I have no idea how one of them rose to manager.
It's not like the older days. Things then, were worth something, these days everything has shrunk. Our drinks weren't cold, no ice.mind you, we should've asked, but we know for next time, if ever there is a next time for us. Other than that, the food was lovely, the service was slow.
