Dosa Plaza

Terrible customer service. After the food we had to wait more than 10mints at the counter to pay. No one doesn’t care or ask to help. There was guy at the counter and he was somehow angry with the kitchen staff and slam a set of order dockets just in front of us. He was ignoring us all the time while we standing up to pay for the food. The food quality is really average and you will have to wait 30-40 minutes for foods to arrive. Even after some of the items we ordered didn’t receive and they forgot it somehow. We will not go there ever again.

EXTREAMLEY DISAPPOINTING. Worst food I ever have in Auckland. I dont know chef know how to make it or not. Front staff is trying to be over smart, over talkative. As I had had food before 2 years ago it was really nice but this time worst. I guess its new owners.. They need to look at so much stuff.

Yum! We came for the first time because of @dominion_road_food_challenge on Instagram who gave it a great review and we’re trying to go to places we’ve never been to on Dom rd. Loved the food! The cauliflower manchurian was our favourite. Really enjoyed our dosas, the naans were crispy and yum. It was all great. The menu was very large and quite overwhelming but since we loved everything, now we can choose all new things next time we go. Would absolutely return. Service was speedy and staff were lovely. Also very happy with the portion sizes and pricing.

Should have looked at the reviews before visiting this place. Ordered Mysore masala dosa. A regular simple dosa from all that fancy names. But Capsicum?? Really? Green chutney?? Seriously? Who puts sandwich stuffing in dosa. It wasn’t even a dosa anymore.

I went here after so long. The food was absolutely delicious. I was hesitant to eat initially because I knew the food would only be nice if the chefs were from South India. We wanted to appreciate the chefs for the delicious food and came to know they were all Tamil chefs. Want some nice south Indian food? You must visit this place.

HORRIBLE!! Better places around this restaurant. This one to be avoided at all cost. The vadas were undercooked, the service was slow and I discovered noodles in my sambhar!?? Noddles in my sambhar!! Made me wonder- is food being recycled or is the chef very careless!? The only reason it gets a second star is because the wait staff brought a second plate of vada without me asking for it. Definitely not going back.

Today i have order online masala dosa and protha , experience was so bad there is no curry leavys tarka.no masala , just potatoes n turmeric and chutney was full of water... Last time i had it was good. We are so excited to have it dosa in after lockdown .but it was so bad experience

Im looks more people not happy to eating dine in because poor service very badly responding two boys working... Food tested good please respect costumers Vegetarian options: Good

Order waiting time was much lesser than last time. Food was amazing. Sizzlers were outstanding. Gave one star less cause of the shocking experience last night where the homeless lady walked in and started asking for free food table by table. One kind hearted person helped and she started sitting on their table. They refused and she went away on the couch sitting right next to the family eating and started coughing there. Restaurant team politely tried asking her to wait outside but she started arguing and they had to arrange chair for her to move her away from customers. What a drama!

We went there last night and ordered our food but left the restaurant after waiting for 1 hour without getting our order. When we asked about our order they keep saying "just wait 2 mins" but we ended up leaving the restaurant without any food because they were serving few others who even ordered after us. Very frustrating and bad behavior towards the customer, not a single time they felt sorry about this even when we were leaving the restaurant. I would highly suggest people not to go there and wait for more than 1 hour just for your order, better try somewhere else where you get better treatment with respect and fast delivery of your order.
