The food is great. People recommended the soy milk hotpot but haven't tried that yet. Staff's attitude tells their commitment to work.
Masuya is my favourite Japanese restaurant in Sydney. I have been savouring its fare for close to 30 years. Always the freshest seafood, tenderest Wagyu and most scrumptious Teryaki chicken. Definitely worth a visit if you love Japanese food.
Not sure what happened to this restaurant since the outbreak of the virus, it is no longer the same Masuya we have known for years. Both service and food are below par... it makes you wonder if you still want to come back, given the fact that this restaurant is in the basement and natural ventilation is not at its best.
Came here and got the Masuya Course for my girlfriend and I as part of her birthday celebration. Hands down one of the best sushi experiences we've had ever had. The food prepared by our chef was amazing, not to mention the professional service by the friendly Aney . We had a wonderful time, will definitely be back soon!
