My husband and i love coffee buns, and after papparoti closed down in Sydney, this is our favourite place! I come specifically to the city just to gobble up these buns. Soooo good!
It’s a small stall located in world square basement, right behind the escalators that’s opposite to Coles. I have tried all of their tarts / puffs. They are perfectly baked and quite fresh I think never older than an hour. They bake limited quantities at a time i guess to keep it fresh and on several occasions I have got tarts / puffs hot out of the oven. I personally like all of their flavours and for me they are perfect treat after lunch. Customer service is quite good too, I usually just buy a tart or a puff after lunch and the lovely ladies always offer me to put that in a bag for me but I am the one who requests them to please hand it over in a serviette and I’ll be alright.
I really really expensive cheese tart Place. They're not bad although it really feels like it's a tourist trap. They are really not a lot different from other ones in the city.
Loved loved loved their original cheese tart! I absolutely loved their coffee chocolate puff. Dark chocolate and coffee with a custard filling. Absolute bliss. The prices are fair and worth. I’m not sure if they have a lot of options, but if you go in the evening, more than half of the place runs out on the products. If you want variety, I recommend visiting in the morning or by midday.
Small shop located under the escalators opposite to Coles. Fresh pastries, tarts and puffs. Not a big range of flavours to pick from, but the taste was pretty good and they also had a good consistency. We bought two strawberry tarts, quite delicious.
The food was okay. But I was charged by higher prices by the World Square shop on their purpose, which made me so upset with their service. At the beginning the guy added one more tart that I didn’t order and which I believe was not one of the popular flavours, and it was pointed out before I paid. Then they changed the price however which was still higher than the one should be regardless of the 15% PH surcharge. And they didn’t provide the receipt which made me even more convinced that they were being dishonest with my bill. I really hope it was not a general practice in this store.
I like the Cheese tart here very cheesy, creamy with nice crusty tart. The orginal cheese tart and Yuzu cheese tart are my favourite.
True to The Japanese island of Hokkaido, these tarts taste as good as most I've had in Japan. If you like sweet creamy baked tarts your tummy will love you even if your wallet doesn't .
Great puffs and tart. They also has a good customer services, the guy has a fast hand in handlings the customers. Will definitely come back!!
Always get tarts. Everytime I pass by, I always get their 6 pack. The yuzu is my recommendation.
