We had such a wonderful time on the Mary Valley Rattler! The volunteer staff are amazing! You can tell each one of them really care about giving you the best experience. I brought my baby in a pram, and they were so accommodating. I saw them being very accommodating with other groups as well. The experience itself was great, too! It's a bit of a rocky ride, not too bad though. I quite enjoyed it! As did my baby, who slept the whole way there and back! We'll definitely be riding again sometime, and look forward to seeing how this amazing little gem develops!
Absolutely Fabulous. The service was Wonderful. John was our carriage concierge and he was Full of information. Such a character and Wonderful man. The train ride was Beautiful. We did the V.I.P Experience and were greeted with a cheese platter and crackers as well as 2 cups and a bottle of water. We did order off the drinks menu and had a wine and Ginger Beer.nWe then got back to Gympie and we were greeted by a lovely young lady. We had lunch, chicken wrapped in bacon on a bed of potato and some drinks and then dessert.nWe would highly recommend doing this if you are in the Gympie area.
Went on the Saturday morning and had a wonderful time with all the volunteers who make this experience so great.nThe staff were extremely helpful with our dietary issues booked online with clear dietary restrictions, once we arrived the ticket staff double checked and confirmed all was well.nGreat to have the train driver explaining the operation of the train and our carriage guide was a font of knowledge and a very personable, engaging companion for the day.nI would really recommend the full experience.
Had a great day with the team @ Mary Valley Rattler. Great adventure for My Wife & I .nWould recommend this for anyone train lover or not we did the VIP Booth. Complimentary water and a meal at the Cafe afterwards. Good food and atmosphere in the Cafe
Amazing experience from start to finish. Did the VIP trip, it was lovely and the service was excellent. Train was a real treat and even got to stand on the rear balcony. Friendly & enthusiastic staff made the whole experience flawless.
