One of my favourite bookshops in Melbourne- their staff recommendations are very specific and always clear- they’ll send you in the direction of a good read based on your preferences! I love dropping in as much to pick up a book as to have a chat. Good rewards scheme too!

Don't go here if you have kids in tow. While they have a great selection of kids books and toys out on display, kids are made to feel like pariahs if they try to touch anything. My daughter was looking at a jewelery box while I was standing there with her and the lady told her it's for display only and easily broken - even though it had a price on it and was obviously for sale. Thankfully the lady had admitted to us that the over inflated price was obviously not worth it. There I was thinking that toys are for playing with! The staff in this shop may not want any customers. Even adults like to look and touch before they buy.
