Just had a couple of coffees. But the place looks very cool and the ambience is great. Once the lockdown is over, should try a proper dinner here.
This is a Melbourne institution. Big bowls of pasta, delicious side-dishes and excellent coffee are the focus here. The food comes out quickly and the staff are attentive and friendly. This is an old-school place - not overly fancy, super reliable, and absolutely worth going to.
Charming place with friendly service and fresh food. Coffee was fantastic and the place is excelling so naturally without trying to hard. A worthwhile stop. Plus, the staff uniforms are dapper!
Friends of mine came here and had an incredibly upsetting and racist experience. They were in a small group just trying to enjoy a quiet dinner and the person who served them seemed to be in charge and made several racist and ill intentioned jokes.

Don’t dine here unless you want a side of racism served with your subpar pasta. Disappointing to see anti-China behaviour occurring in such a diverse neighbourhood within the inner north.
