Love the pies at Babka, especially the lamb and apricot! Take away is definitely cheaper when it comes to pies, but it’s also just nice to hang out on Brunswick Rd and have a lunch sitting outside.

Cakes are absolutely huge and wonderful. My favourite is the chocolate cake- just such a light but rich in flavour home-style dessert. Lemon tart and pecan pies are also both good but I personally find them a little sweet hubby loved them tho. Service is a bit of a hit and miss so be prepared.

It's a wonderful place. Always happy to go for breakfast. Babka has the best ricotta hot cakes in Melbourne!!. I can't wait for covid-19 restrictions to stop, so I will treat myself to visit my favourite place for breakfast.

Best citron tart and orange and almond cake in Melbourne in my opinion

One of my fav places for Polish dumplings and their breads are good as well.
