4 and a half stars.nLovely room with spa bath and view of sorts over Lonnie. Big TV and very comfy bed and very quiet. Kitchenette with microwave and small Cooktop, however just a bar fridge was somewhat limiting. Big room complete with sofa and desk.nHowever, the blinds on the windows are not blackout, so if you value a sleep in, bring an eye mask.nParking is first in best dressed, and we didn't have a problem, just something to bear in mind.nnBreakfast is disappointingly not buffet style, but a la carte, which is not for me, but to each their own.nnLocation is great, being minutes from the CBD and about 6 minutes drive from the fantastic Cataract gorge.nnOverall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay except for the blinds, this is the reason for only 4 stars. We'd happily return, but with our eye masks
My wife and I were in Tasmania celebrating our 50th Wedding Anniversary and I had booked this hotel for a one night stay in Launceston. We were driving around Tasmania for the very first time with lots to fit in.nThe location is very well presented with good parking and close to city centre.nThe staff were awesome in all aspects. The room was quite comfortable and presented in a very clean condition.nThe staff at the restaurant were excellent in attention and we enjoy a well presented and tasty evening meal and breakfast was just as good.nWe will return.
Sleeping can be difficult — if not impossible — here if you need a dark room. The blinds have horizontal bands that let in a lot of light no matter how you adjust them. Otherwise the hotel is okay — the rooms are fairly big with plenty of storage, and the pod coffee machine in the room was good. The furniture looks a bit tired and the bathroom is very dated, though clean. It’s also not close to much without a car. No gym, but there’s a good coffee shop around the corner. Staff were nice.
We had a 2 night stay…a smallish room but it was clean and the bed comfortable. 1 chair available but it had a very low back making it uncomfortable attaching photo of chair under the desk.nnReception staff was welcoming. Free parking available. There’s a restaurant but we didn’t try it.
Very unimpressed. $300 a night gives you a room not much bigger than a broom closet. Not enough cutlery. Tv options very average. The only good things were not requiring key to use lift and late checkout.nAs a member I didn't realise you went to the bottom of the list of available rooms.
