Quite unfamiliar with Peruvian cuisine, but really enjoyed this. The menu could do with a bit more translation for the uninitiated. The waitress, though friendly and attentive, didn't have the best English. So we chose three dishes a bit randomly, with focus on the chef's specials. Thankfully all of them were flavoursome, skillfully prepared and presented. We were both well fed for with BYO corkage a bit over $80, I think good value for this caliber of food.
The best Peruvian restaurant in Sydney by far. The dishes have an authentic Peruvian taste, are well proportioned and match its value. I recommend the "seco de cabrito" or "arroz con pato", the cocktails as well are delicious!! Mancora is a hidden gem.
Regardless of the food the owners and managers are disrespectful and dishonest, special the international student who are looking for a work opportunity. They hire withe the excuse of training and then not paid even the legal salary, and make thousand of excuses to not paid.
All I have to say is yum yum yum!! Such a gorgeous hidden treasure. The ceviche was just like the ones in Peru. We will definitely be back!!
We had a reservation on this place and when we got at the restaurant it was closed and the staff did not bothered to contact to advise us. A man answered the door and he sworn at us for us complaining the bad service.. Avoid this place. We do not need this kind of behavior when we go out for dinner.
I really enjoy the food here. Excellent representation of their food. Pisco Sour is fantastic.
