Welcoming staff, family friendly service with a relaxed vibe. Great pub grub with delicious burgers and fresh chips. Met up with my friend who has a child and the staff were accommodating, making sure she didn't have to carry the baby chair by herself and cleaning each table between the guests leaving. The cocktails are worth the money, Lemon drop is fantastic and light, not too sweet or sour. This place would suit small or large gatherings, it can get busy so get in early or book a table in advance so you dont miss out. Space inside and outside with covered/shady spots and dog friendly too! There is a parent room and kids play area outside, but due to covid these are currently unavailable - fair enough, we can wait till things settle down. Cheers to the team at Henson, we will be back! Xxx
Large pub. Very busy and extremely family friendly including dogs. Very noisy inside - what you expect from a Sydney pub. The food we tried several burgers and a sandwich were just average. The beer was good. It seems to be really popular - just not really for me. There are much better options in Sydney for decent food and the option to talk to, not shout at each other.

Vibrant kid friendly atmosphere awaits you at the Henson. We enjoyed margaritas and a Spritz that were delicious albeit a tad slow. Food was speedy and down right yummy! Would recommend, great vibe.
We came here for dinner recently and were largely impressed with the place. A very large, over all tidily decorated pub with a lot of separate areas bar, dinning, outside etc which meant there was a ton of space. Plenty of beer on offer across different taps in the different areas. The menu sounded really interesting with a mixture of cuisine influences. Our food came quick and it was all tasted great. Service was great and would definitely come back if we were in the area again.

Great vibe, nice spot with a good atmosphere. I was a bit disappointed by the lamb shank singular, despite their menu saying “shanks”. I’ll grant that meat is certainly more expensive recently, but the serving size is quite small. Could have been made up for with more mash or veggies, but those were both conservative servings as well. The mash was delicious, the dish would have been redeemed with more of it! My friend had the chicken burger and said it was fantastic - so, tip to the wise, get a burger!
Had a dinner and drinks in there. Nice beer garden, arcade section, good foods especially I liked soft serve with popcorns! I would come back for it :
Really beautiful spot. Excellent staff. Reasonable pricing. Good vibe and culture. Also, love the old style games room. Really fun to play pinball! Always a special afternoon spent at the Henson. 100% recommend
Treat their staff unwell. No consistency in the venue. Very sad to see such a great pub previously run by strong females... Now run by men who some of which make inappropriate jokes to staff and patrons. The owner of the hotel, yells at alot of his staff, I used to work here and have been yelled at multiple times by the owner. Just read some of the other reviews. It's not the first time mentioned that his not the nicest to staff. The food is wildly over priced for what you get, frankly they think their too busy to make absolutely any changes to the menu which is ridiculous. Find many reviews on this page about someone being gluten free and not being able to switch or remove one item. Unfortunately this is frequent and staff are threatened by chefs and the owner not to allow absolutely any changes to the menu because they are "too busy" & frankly I've worked in busier kitchens. It's definitely possible. Especially since they don't hand make all their food and some is ordered in ready made....
