I’m not one to make reviews, but after my experience with Man’s Best Friend Dog Grooming today, I felt very obliged to make a review so everyone else knows what to expect from their services. I booked in our long haired border collie and cavoodle with Glenn and specifically asked for a wash, brush, nail trimming and a light trim around problematic areas (tails and ears, that are prone to matting). I made this very clear to him on the phone as did my father and brother when he came to the house. As a professional dog groomer, I expect them to know very specifically what a light trim is. When my dogs were finished, both of them were shaved, pretty much down to skin. This was completely unnecessary as both of their fur was unmattered, brushed and only in need of some maintenance before the colder weather. Never did I expect this outcome, especially for our long haired border collie’s fur to be completely botched and shaved! Even when I expressed my unhappiness with the job, he wouldn’t take responsibility and tried to blame my family for miscommunication. I won’t be a return customer and I hope this review will make any potential customers think twice about their services.

You shaved my friends dog after asking for a light trim, now she doesn't even look like the same breed and is shivering in the weather change. Expect the same treatment if you decide to have your dog trimmed (shaved) by him.
