Picked up my baby today after 4 days. I am happy with the service. They did change the pickup day for us at the last minute. Easy to book online. Staff is really friendly. They did let us give my puppy's own food during the stay. The price is good. Will definitely book them again in future.
Our boy gets excited when he arrives at Dogdayz. He’s always exhausted when he leaves which is not an easy feat. The staff are always friendly, and have been able to show us pictures of our dog on their phone without having him present. They really seem to know and care about all the dogs they have. Sometimes he has also been clearly washed prior to pickup probably because our boy likes playing in mud.I would highly recommend dogdayz.
We had our pup stay for two months and were worried as it was the longest she'd been away from us. As soon as we dropped her off we heard several staff call her name in excitement, which brought us so much comfort. The staff went above and beyond for her throughout her entire stay. They provided thorough updates whenever we requested them, uploaded photos every week, noticed when she didn't seem herself and alerted us immediately, took her to the vet for an ear infection and treated her accordingly, gave her the C5 update after consulting us, assessed how she interacted with different temperaments and paired her with dogs she felt comfortable with, and then gave her a good wash prior to pick up. We are so impressed with the staff and their devotion to keeping our pup safe and content. She will definitely be coming back.
Have just started sending my dog Obi here. We just got him back from a week long stay while we were away on holidays. He's come back happy as and seems like he has enjoyed his stay. The staff there are awesome and looked after him really well, even considering he is a very picky eater. big thanks to the team and he'll be back for sure :
We sent our 9 month old GSD pup here; he came home so happy and enriched. I emailed them for an update and they were happy to send me photos of my dog ASAP. I do wish that they update their Facebook page with photos from Toolern vale daily though; i think that would help anxious doggy parents like me to see how my pup is doing, especially if we are away overseas. Check in process was straightforward- I checked in my dog in the afternoon, the staff at the front desk appeared to be tired and seemed to not want to engage with me but this is understandable given that they have just played with all the guest dogs all day, keeping the dogs happy is a priority. Overall, good experience and will send our dog again once we go away. I've also used their doggy day care- we loved it because of the big running area for the dogs; I only wish for them to have longer hours so on days that I have to finish late, I don't have to always rush.
My Dog has stayed here Twice now and both times I've gotten him back he looked soo happy! The staff are super friendly and happy to answer all questions when you call up regarding the dogs. Would definitely recommend
Really disappointed with the level of care shown at this site. It’s really hard when you have to leave a family member there and the expectation is they would return in the same way. Unfortunately they’re a problem and our dog had she was injured. Being reminded that “we are not liable” was really disappointing. Will never be putting her in a kennel again
Been going to this kennel address for 25 years , and over 9 years with the current dog ,from memory the current owner has owned the property for 9 odd years? Never an issue apart from once when my dog had a fight and I offered to pay any damage or vet /doctor fees. Only once in the last 9 years have I asked if I could pick my dog up out of pick up hours , as I live over 1.1/4 hours away a 3 hour round trip Rang at around 11.00am Saturday morning ,driving down the Hume highway near Craigiburn and could jump off the Hume and pick my boy up..told NO pick him up at 3.30pm.Might I add in a very short term . So I drive home and then arrive after a 1 hour 30 min trip ring at 3.05 to say I'm out the front ...told to wait till 3.30pm ,meanwhile other dogs are being dropped off? I feel as if for some reason the duty people were making it difficult for me and I confront them after paying ,an argument started , not even that heated words ....I'm asked to leave and 2 or 3 times I argue back ...due to the way I was treated as a client ..Today an email telling myself and my dog are no longer welcome. Feeling sad as I have been coming here 25 plus years with never an issue . Yes the pets are looked after ,its not cheap , but just upset as I feel I was set up by the person in the office on both times ...a person I'd never met before and have always had a great relationship with the managers and staff .
My dog Charlie had a great time. He was taken excellent care of and happy to go there. Gives him socialisation and exercise he needs.
My dog likes coming here. Always a fun day for him. Great staff. Friendly and accomodating.
