Today I had lamb Rogan Josh for lunch. It was delicious. Full of flavor curry and garlic naan bread. I could not believe it was only 10 bucks for such a good meal and a can of Coke. I still cannot understand how people still paying more than that to eat McDonald's. It's almost an insult for these restaurants. Apparently they have a Tuesday night special as well. You should try it.

Was craving Indian, yet have been dissapointed with my numerous attempts since arriving in the Darling Downs. With Thai right beside, I nearly did not bother to attempt another indian joint. I am pleased I did, staff lovely, meal was perfect and too much for my $12.50 lunch special. Huge 4 piece entree, melt in mouth true medium curry, saffron rice large georgeous garlic nan plus 2 pops. Water was served, with polite staff. I will now be a regular, the owner lady chef makes a wonderful curry...yes I have found my curry joint :)

So delicious! Their beef & lamb dishes were melt-in-your-mouth tender, no gristle. The naans were cheesey & very light and the butter chicken was not too sweet (others' can be) - tasted home made with ginger notes. We'll be back - soon!

Thanks for another great meal! Love the food and the service. Malawi kitchen has good prices and for a new business it is a place I will continue to support!

I love the authenticity of this place. The people are so welcoming and I just love the Naan and the strawberry and mango lassi. So good to be able to have good food in Highfields without having to go into town.
