Malacca Straits has been around for many years. The food tastes great and I'm sufficient portion, the cost is very budget friendly, and staff services are excellent.
Great meal under $10
Good value however there is one but... They seem to be using chicken drumstick fillets for their chicken dishes. Drumstick fillets are cheap and full of fat and gristle. Would be great if they changed the type of chicken they use.
Have eaten there in the past for years. The tom yum is to die for, as is the spicy fried rice. Great food, wonderful value. Don't work in the CBD anymore, but if I did..............
I first got the Thai Omelette from here in 2004. It was delicious then and it's delicious now, it hasn't changed. Service is fairly good, food is usually served within ten minutes during the lunch rush. Sadly not open on weekends.
Meats don't seem hygienic - they have a smell and not the best bits, for those who are particular about such things. I had chicken with cashew nuts. I won't go there again for meat but might try their vege dishes
Awesome food, lovely staff very friendly, green chicken curry is #1!!
My regular lunch place. Cheap but good.
Not halal food.. they also sell pork.. beware
